Pink Heliconia

This pink plastic-like flower bloomed from a banana-like plant usually abundant in tropical countries and it's called heliconia.

The saying goes that "the devil is in the details" -- but, whoever coined the phrase probably never did macro-photography. That's where the beauty is-- nice shot!!

Its a beautiful flower, it looks lit from within! Great macro shot!

Nice capture. I initially though of it as a painting. I live in a tropical country but never seen one of this.
