Christmas Decors at the Malls

As much as we want to dress up our home with beautiful Christmas decorations, we simply can't because of some reasons, like house space, budget and time. We have no choice but to settle on simple Christmas wreaths and ornaments. Hopefully by next year we'll be able to find time and budget to decorate our home with style and elegance. 

For now we are very much contented just by looking at stunning decorations outside our home like those found in shopping malls.

Here's what I saw at the two shopping malls in the city.

Many have forgotten what the season is all about. The "Nativity" decor at SM Cagayan de Oro City will remind us that Christmas is the celebration of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. 

 

I think the church replica, also at SM CDO depicts the Filipino Tradition of "Simbang Gabi". Simbang Gabi is a devotional mass in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is a 9-day series mass which starts early morning of December 16th until December 24th.

And of course, who will ignore this tall Christmas Tree at the Center of Lim Ket Kai Mall also here in Cagayan de Oro City. 

Having a Nativity scene and a Christmas Tree at home is my goal next year. I hope it will come true.
